Q. If this is an owners website, how do I have my say?

A. The Owners' Committee is always pleased to hear from owners, but if your enquiry relates to a problem encountered during your stay at Villacana please do report it to the resort reception at the time.

Q. Can I exchange my accommodation with another owner?

A. Yes, we recommend that you use the Macdonald Holiday Exchange facility. See the Exchanging page for information.

Q. How can I check availability and cost of renting an apartment?

Q. How expensive is a taxi from Malaga Airport to the Villacana resort?

A. A taxi costs around 55 euros depending on the number of passengers and amount of luggage. Do always ask the driver to confirm the fare before you set off.

Q. Can I get to the resort by train?

A. There is a regular train service from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola where you can get a  taxi or bus to the Villacana resort. Details are on the Malaga Airport website.

Q. How can I find the location of my apartment in the resort before I arrive?

A. See the Villacana resort map, click on the link on the Holiday Information page.

Q. Can I book additional accommodation for my friends who would like to come to Villacana when we are there?

Q. What laundry/ironing facilities are there?

A. The resort has a laundry for the use of guests and apartments have irons and ironing boards.

Q. What activities will be organised when we visit the resort?

A. Activities vary from week to week but normally include trips, wine tasting, Spanish lessons, fitness activities and evening entertainment.

Q. What is the best way to hire car?

A. Contact the resort reception or or book on line using one of the links on this website.

Q. Will supermarkets be open when I arrive?

A. Supermarkets are open until late on Saturday but most are closed or only open for restricted hours on Sunday. There is a small grocery shop on the resort, but why not order a welcome pack - contact the resort reception for details.
